The fact is, there many myths to improving gas mileage. Tire pressure, air filter, etc are all overrated if not a myth.

The only thing I agree with is the last section "OVER THE LONG-RUN, BUY A HIGH MPG VEHICLE".

There is in fact a way that windshields can help protect both the environment and your wallet. And no...its not recycling the old ones.

Most newer vehicles have a UV coating on their auto glass. This keeps the car cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Thereby reducing the amount of fuel wasted on Air Conditioning and heat. In turn, this lowers the amount of fuel your vehicle uses!

So it is true!

A good windshield can help keep both your wallet and the environment green!
