I think the American consumers are starting to wise up on their own, sort of. If you look at SUV and truck sales over the last couple of years, the overall numbers have been relatively flat.

The only reason I think there hasn't been more of a downturn in the sales of these vehicles is the manufaturers are offering "great deals" to keep people in the gas guzzling vehicles.

For example, four years ago you could lease an H2 for $499 per month. Today, the same vehicle goes for $299 per month.
